So any other reason is fine?

The gay british actor brian cashman said that he couldn't kiss his b/f in public. I don't see why. I think he was being a bit cowardly. Aren't gays supposed to be unashamed about how they are and don't they make a point of gay love being the same as straight.

Back on topic... Here's something I wrote a few days ago for school.

The weight of a tree rests in my hand, but it's not much of a burden. The scale at the supermarket said it's only around two pounds. But it looks like it could tower above a house. I pull a part off my broccoli bunch and hold it up, one eye closed. It dominates the hillside, forest-dense branches moving in the wind not at all. Like an oak tree, the green sprig in my hand seems to command attention; the grass nearby, bowed by the wind, begins to worship this colossal foreigner, startled and distraught when I, with my thumb and forefinger, uproot their god and insert him into my mouth. I begin to chew, but my food bites back as it slides unwillingly past the bitter buds near my throat. The broccoli berates me, but I remain unconvinced. Broccoli is not venison, watermelon, chocolate, pasta or ice cream, but something about it is attractive. This bitter, crunchy, silent, screaming, biting vegetable called broccoli is like nothing else. It is a food not eaten for the taste, but for the fantasy. With meat you are a hunter, with apples a farmer, with sandwiches, boring. But with broccoli, you are a giant, uprooting and devouring forests. Who among you has not regarded the helpless vegetable in your hand and plucked off each of it's 'branches' one by one? Broccoli is exciting. Broccoli is the timber of another world. Every bite is the crunch of a crisp imagination, every sprig glows with the green of a fertile mind.

I write a 250 word speech every week, so if I remember, and if ya'll want me to, and if I actually come back once in a while, there will be more.
