I have a very faint recollection of a Monty Python sketch, "The Man who knew Many Interesting Facts."
("Did you know the zebra is not an animal, it's an insect". That is not verbatim, but it was that sort of stuff).
A search for that title on Google yields no results, which means that either I've made the whole thing up or, much more likely, that there's a U.N.-sanctioned global conspiracy to remove any mention of it from public record.
Or possibly that a skit along these lines existed, but with a different name.
Can anyone help?

I have absolutely no recollection of ever having seen Secret Policeman's Ball, so would never have remembered that.
Sincere thanks from a fellow Aussie.

No worries, the pythons may have done a version, but i've only seen bits and pieces of flying circus thus far, so im not sure.

It wasn't a Python sketch, rather a cooperation between the legendary Peter Cook and John Cleese for the Amnesty Event.

It's bloomin funny though - "Your intestines are four miles long. This means no food that reaches the stomach is ever fresh." Fantastic.
