This is a game from the old Pythonland site. I quite liked it so I'm resurrecting it.

This is based on the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon. Basically the idea is that anyone can be linked to anyone else by no more than 6 connections.

You take a person and try and link them in no more than 6 moves to one of the Pythons. If you get one, you can post the next one for everyone to work on.

For example: Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart was in The Faculty with
Famke Janssen, who was in GoldenEye with
Robbie Coltrane, who was in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone with
John Cleese

Some rules:
You can only start with people who are alive (so we have a chance!)
You can only use things where people worked on or appeared with together. It doesn't matter that both people were interviewed in separate episodes of Oprah or somesuch.

Okay, so I'll start:

Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom played in kingdom of heaven directed by
Ridley Scott who directed black rain with
Andy Garcia who played in the untouchables with
Sean Connery who played in time bandits directed by
Terry Gilliam.

this is my very first, did i do it right?

i think it's easier if you use actors and directors?

Ooh easy!

Arnie was in Around the World in 90 Days with
John Cleese.
(sorry)

Seeing it's his birthday today, I'm going to go with Ron Perlman.

Keith Richards did back-up vocals in 'All You Need is Love'. which is parodied in 'The Ruttles', staring Eric Idle.

Sir Ian McKellan (Gandalf)

DISQUALIFIED!!!
Rules - You can only use things where people worked on or appeared with together. Being parodied doesn't count.

So Keith Richards still in play (although if anyone fancies taking Ian McKellan as well).

Actually I can do Keith Richards:

Keith Richards was in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End with...
Johnny Depp who was The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus directed by...
Terry Gilliam.

So just Ian McKellan then!!!

Ian McKellan was in Lord of the Rings with Orlando Bloom who, as was discussed earlier, was in Kingdom of Heaven directed by
Ridley Scott who directed black rain with
Andy Garcia who played in the untouchables with
Sean Connery who played in time bandits directed by
Terry Gilliam.

So, how about Patrick Stewart?
