I very much like being insane. Plus, Monty Python fans actually have a sense of humour because we've been exposed to some of the funniest men in the history of the entire universe.

some level of insanity is common for all fans of monty python, or so it seems. i like most everything from monty python i've heard, though some songs seem to be a bit lacking.

One ring to rule them all
One ring to find them
One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the land of aaaarrgh...

I love the complete randomness! IT'S MENTAL!

'E's not pinin'! 'E's passed on! This parrot is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'im to the perch 'e'd be pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-PARROT!!

There are some who call me ..... Tim?

The Monty Python have invented so many things that are being copied on and on throughout the world that it seems clear that there is a "before MPFC" and a "post MPFC" in the history of TV shows.
And nobody has ever before nor after equalled their capacity to write completely silly skits and lines and characters with the most absolute precision. For example, the fish-slapping dance : It is absolutely silly. But, the perfection of the uniform, the serious face adopted by Michael Palin, the way Cleese is not moving at all, the "folk-dance-like" choreography, the rhythm of the sketch, everything in the realization of this small bit of nonsense is cautiously and carefully meant to create the most hilarious effect.
According to me, their genious is to have always treated their silly show as seriously as the BBC was dealing with the Queen's Jubilee.

Thief, Robbery, Sack of Major Cities

I agree! And their humour is so... FUNNY! When I saw first series I didn't understood anything. But after couple episodes I was hooked! Where they got their ideas?

WEI!
