Please help me answer the question below. It would be most appreciated.

The movie (Monty Python - the Meaning of Life)
portrayed a fictionalized account of the liberation of a certain island
nation from a fledgling communist tyranny. Name the island.

Is it the United Kingdom? (I'm sensing that I am wrong, but that's okay.)

Are you sure it was "The Meaning of Life"?

Huh. I don't remember that scene, and I just saw Meaning of Life a few weeks ago... either I'm losing it or you possibly mistook the scene for a different film.

You're no fun anymore.

i don't think it was the meaning of life...

or any of the python movies, for that matter.

And the shock news is that the German's leading second-hand goods champion, Mrs. Elsie Gruber, has been found to be a man. Good news for her, but bad news for John Motson, who spent the evening with her last night.

My guess is you have confused Peter Sellers Movie "The Mouse That Roared" with a MP film.

I'm quite sure it's not in "The Meaning...."

Either that or he is confused with a James Bond film.
